About the Protocol
Fireteam Protocol is a decentralized e-sports ecosystem that is comprised of 6 main components: the Fireteam game, e-sports, NFTs, the web portal, GameFi, and team crowdfunding. More information can be found in the Decentralized E-Sports Ecosystem section of our whitepaper, but a brief synopsis of each component is provided below:
- The Fireteam Game
The core component of the ecosystem. Create your mercenary, team up with allies, and fight alongside the Allied Liberation Task Force in the campaign mode or speedrun against other teams in versus mode in order to earn rewards in the form of native token (FWB) and NFTs.
- E-Sports
A decentralized e-sports hub for the Fireteam trilogy that cuts out the middlemen. Create a team, join the league, speedrun against other teams in versus mode, join tournaments, and win big.
- Web Portal
An all-in-one place to participate in the ecosystem. Stake your assets, provide liquidity, participate in e-sports, view your profile/stats, and crowdfund other teams all through the web portal.
- NFTs
You own your in-game items. All items are stored as NFTs on the Binance network.
- GameFi
Stake your FWB directly from your wallet and earn interest in FWB - no custody. Provide liquidity for FWB and earn interest in your liquidity pair for providing.
- Team Crowdfunding
Fund and support your favorite underdog teams on the platform in FWB and earn rewards for supporting them. All handled through smart contracts - no middlemen involved.
About the Game
The Fireteam series is the first censorship resistant action-FPS game launched on the Binance network. All in-game items are in the form of NFTs and the in-game currency is a PRC-20 token called Free World Byte (FWB), so you truly own your items and currency.
It is a trilogy of co-op online multiplayer action-FPS games (Fireteam Alpha, Fireteam Bravo, and Fireteam Charlie) that are designed to facilitate strategy building, team building, connection, and friendly competition amongst friends and strangers alike. As a player, you team up with up to 7 other players to complete missions as a team, which entails communicating with your teammates and building a strategy to overcome obstacles and improvise. In versus mode, you can team up with 7 other players to race against another 8 player team to complete a mission faster. More information can be found on the game download page.
The trilogy also follows a storyline that's analogous to what's going on in the real world, which is there to awaken people to the realities of the financial system we live in in an entertaining manner.
At the end of the day, this game is designed to bring people together and build connections while rewarding them with cryptocurrency and NFTs for their efforts and time. Hopefully some people are educated along the way.
